My Experience as an Equity Research and Development Intern

My BUIP Summer Internship: Thank you past-Matt!

By Matt Capaldi, BUIP Intern

I can distinctly remember writing my applications for the BUIP internships, it was spring break, and I was sitting on cramped airplane seats, travelling around the US with my year abroad host college’s Pep Band. Although it was a few of the best weeks of my life, it was also probably the most hectic, basketball games finishing late at night, and flights leaving at 5am the next morning. Honestly, there were more than a few occasions when I thought, “this can’t be worth it” and “maybe I should just go back and work in retail over summer”. Looking back, I can’t thank past-Matt enough for persevering, as my BUIP internship has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had, and I have had a lot of fun along the way!

My success on this award cannot happen without the full support from Careers Network, Worklink and especially SET along the way. Also, I want to thank Ellen, the international careers consultant, for supporting my nomination.
