My final 2 weeks started with somewhat of a disaster. I managed to spend Tuesday evening in a Moroccan fracture clinic. A post work food shop turned into a particularly nasty fall, which then in turn lead to my return home at 9 0’clock with my right leg up to the knee in plaster. I had to spend the next week sat in my apartment popping pills, with my leg propped up on cushions. A rather bleak existence. Showering became a lengthy process as did moving around the apartment in any form given for the first few days I had to hop.

GSK Argentina #3

We’re coming up close to the end of our internship and we are beginning to get slightly nervous. As one of us has to leave and go home early, only two of us will be creating the final report and presentation. We have been asked to present in front of senior regional directors and procurement managers. I’m a  bit nervous because usually, up until now, I’ve had lots of support and coaching and help when it has come to delivering such presentations from teachers at university and mentors at school. In this case however, it was all down to us what we presented, whether or not we were able to present a unique footprint that we had created, and deciding what was important and significant in our work that was worth presenting.

Global Challenge: GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Morocco – Anna Traykova Weeks 6-7

As the end of my internship is quickly approaching I get more and more interested in the work of the HR department at GSK. These two weeks have been busier as I had to complete my final projects and ensure that everything is done correctly. I have been spending most of my time together with the other interns and they have been busy too. The HR dashboard is actually starting to look very good and I am proud of what I have done with it. It was hard to start at first but now I got more confident with it. Working on the dashboard allowed me to develop my Excel and overall IT skills and my organization and communication skills.
